Slowfoot Records are delighted to introduce you to the newest artist on the roster, South East London's Crewdson.  A one-man journey to the very edges (and back again) of melody and rhythm, his debut EP will be coming up in autumn of 2010, followed by an album soon after.  So far this year Hugh Crewdson Jones has already performed at the Southbank Centre's hugely influential experimental music festival Ether and has a number remixes for artists on the immediate drawing board (information on these coming soon).  Here's a taster of what Crewdson is up to (if you enjoy what you hear, please feel free to share or host):

Solo practitioner Apotu [aka Aled Rees from The Eidetic Band] will perform a sonic purification ritual consisting in the application of drones within the space, interspersed and overlaid by refrain elements from voice, percussion, string and reed.
