Slowfoot Records are delighted to introduce you to the newest artist on the roster, South East London's Crewdson. A one-man journey to the very edges (and back again) of melody and rhythm, his debut EP will be coming up in autumn of 2010, followed by an album soon after. So far this year Hugh Crewdson Jones has already performed at the Southbank Centre's hugely influential experimental music festival Ether and has a number remixes for artists on the immediate drawing board (information on these coming soon). PAVEL FAJT [solo]
Since the mid-'80s, drummer, composer and bandleader Pavel Fajt has been one of the most prominent musicians on the Czech alternative rock and improv scenes. Internationally, he is best-known for his longstanding duo with Iva Bittová and collaborations with Fred Frith and Tom Cora.

Our monthly residency at The Dogstar gets back on its feet with a rare UK date for saxophonist/poet/puppeteer Ted Milton's seminal punk-jazz trio BLURT who have released numerous acclaimed albums since their debut on Factory Records in 1980 and who's live shows are the stuff of legends.
Also a DJ set from DJ BEEKEEPER aka BRUCE GILBERT, co-founder/guitarist of influential and experimental art-punk band WIRE.
Gigs like this don't come around that often!!

Punk-jazz trio Blurt have been fronted by puppeteer-turned-eccentric- saxophonist Ted Milton since 1979. Since their debut on Factory Records the band have released numerous albums with several line-up changes, whilst maintaining the idiosyncrasy and originality that has marked the Blurt sound from the very beginning...
